Biblical Counseling
We take your counseling and its ability to change your life for the better seriously. Our desire is to see you develop and grow in the areas in which you are ready and willing to work through. Below are the three major stages of therapy.
In this stage we will discuss and review your intake form as well as hear from you in order to discern what is going on and from there devise a plan for healing and recovery. The first meeting is primarily for discovery.
Discovery
Stage One
The second stage of the therapy plan is customized in a way that develops a plan comprised of issues and/or problems as well as goals and ways to meet those goals. Please bear in mind that this stage may take a longer period of time depending upon what you need help with.
Therapy
Stage Two
When your current therapy plan is coming to an end, an evaluation will be done to assess progress made and whether or not more counseling sessions are needed. Finally, we would conclude your counseling experience with a final wrap-up session, in which we would review your progress and establish a good discharge plan that keeps you moving forward strongly. Such a plan may include the option of return visits for "tune-up" sessions as needed.
